I’m Mike Lagan, Owner and Operator of Downtown Auto Specialist. I am truly fortunate to be the owner of Downtown Auto Specialist and to work alongside the talented and dedicated people you will find here at our shop. Cars have always been a passion of mine. But, it’s my desire to be of help and service to others that truly makes this work the rewarding experience that it is. I was in second year of University when the opportunity to partner with a friend and purchase Downtown Auto Specialist presented itself. With my Class A technician’s license in one hand and a lot of hope in the other, the journey began. Over time, I was able to buy out my partner and am now the sole proprietor of Downtown Auto Specialist. It hasn’t always been an easy road but I can say without a doubt that providing automotive service with integrity is my calling. My favorite part about this job is without question the people. My customers have become friends and a part of my community as much as Downtown Auto Specialist has become an integral part of their community. I take pride in going the extra mile to make sure all of our customers needs are met. In the rare event that we cannot directly fix a vehicle’s problems ourselves, we will personally make all necessary arrangements to have it done for our customers. I enjoy making people smile!
